Talk about mouth watering ramen (la mian) in Kota Kinabalu, will eventually lead one to this well established eatery called Emperor’s Delight. Located at the far end of Jalan Pantai (Beach Street) and just 30 metres away from Little Italy, Emperor’s Delight serves some of the best ramens in town. As many as 12 different types of ramens with various combinations are available, and the more popular ones are ramen with beef in special herbal soup, ramen with braised meat, ramen with minced meats and mushroom with spicy sauce, and ramen with seafood. Jeong Hin Kopitiam is a great place to have buns and “pau”, especially during tea break. Whether is it because of the British influence from the colonial time, or is it because people nowadays like to have tea. KK Lites are very fond of their tea break. Royal China Restaurant is one of the few restaurants that has 5-star hotel rating in Kota Kinabalu. Located at the second floor of D Junction, Jalan Penampang, Royal China Restaurant, serves delicious Dim Sum and Chinese cuisine. It has a hall big enough for wedding party and a few smaller rooms for private function. With the height of second floor, Royal China Restaurant has a good view on the surrounding area.
