Restaurant Sinsuran Sang Nyuk Mee is a typical kopitiam with simple wooden round tables and red plastic chairs. Chinese do like red colour.
Pork slices noodle is the main dish served here, and customers can have the noodle in soup, or dry. With dry noodle which is mixed with black sauce, and the pork slice soup comes in a different bowl. Both of these are priced at RM 5, for an extra large portion, one will have to fork out another RM 1.50, at RM 6.50. Another special dish is the Pig’s ligament (zhu jin) selling at RM 8.50.
While most kopitiams today have stopped using charcoal to cook their food, with the convenience choice of gas, Restaurant Sinsuran Sang Nyuk Mee is the remaining few who still use charcoal to cook.
