Port View Seafood Village can accommodate 250 guests at any given time, and this restaurant is divided into a large open air section and a smaller air-conditional room. Even with its large number of guests, the service at this restaurant is fast and prompt. The restaurant employs state of the art computer system. The captains can give the first order to the kitchen, yet still standing beside the guests table, while the guests making up the rest of the order. Hence this and a big number of chefs some 30 of them and their assistants ensure the prompt service. Order can also be made with the friendly staff at the cascading aquariums. The prices are displayed on the side of each tank to help customers budget their meals more easily.
Popular dishes to order are Steamed Gaoupa, Butter prawn, Steamed prawn, Deep fried soft shell Crabs, Sweet and Sour Crabs and Slipper Lobsters. Or one can ask the captian to recommend what is the best way to prepare the different seafood. Do take note that this restaurant does not serve pork.
At the open air area guests not only can enjoy a good seafood meals, and from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm guests are treated to a splendid cultural show, performed by a local dance group, including the famous bamboo dance called “ menuatip” locally. Daily business hours are from 12 noon to 11 pm.
